… Die Enttäuschung in unserem Team ist riesengross …
Seit 19 Monaten sind wir als Judo goes Orient Team fast pausenlos in der Freizeit am planen und organisieren für unser humanitäres karitatives Hilfsprojekt. Mit dem ersten Schicksalsschlag im Mai 2020, als wir nicht zur grossen Rallye nach Jordanien starten konnten, haben wir uns mittlerweile abgefunden. Die Hoffnung auf den Plan B – die Mini-Rallye – also nur unser Team mit Start am Samstag, 25. Juli nach Rumänien und Bulgarien lies uns tatkräftig an unserem Projekt weiterarbeiten.
Noch am letzten Samstag, anlässlich unserer Team-Sitzung waren wir voller Zuversicht, dass wir eine Woche später losfahren können. Denn wir sind bereit, die Anhänger sind schon seit Wochen beladen, die Zollformalitäten erledigt und die grosse Lust auf die Reise im Team entfacht.
Wir haben entschieden, dass Lukas am Montag bei den Botschaften von Ungarn, Rumänien, Bulgarien sowie beim BAG abklären wird, wie sich die Prognosen für unsere Reise in den Ländern entwickeln wird. Weiter haben wir entschieden, dass wir bis gegen Ende dieser Woche – also kurz vor der Abfahrt am Samstag, 25.07. – zu warten für einen GO oder NoGO-Entscheid.
Einen ersten Corona-Wink haben wir dann am Dienstag aus Rumänien erhalten, dass die Fallzahlen in Rumänien auf 994 Neuinfektionen anstiegen. Ungarn und Bulgarien sind in etwa vergleichbar mit Rumänien.
An unserer finalen Team-Sitzung haben wir nun entschieden – in Abwägung aller Fakten und Risiko-Analyse, dass die Chance auf Einschränkungen an den Grenzen oder gar eine Quarantäne mit dem Reisen nach Ungarn, Rumänien und Bulgarien sehr, sehr gross ist, da wir ja nicht im Transitverkehr durch diese Länder fahren. Es besteht für uns so keine Planungssicherheit und es muss damit gerechnet werden, dass etwas schief geht. So kann es sein, dass während unserer Reise eines der Länder auf die Liste kommt. Somit hindert uns Corona, reibungslos über die Grenzen zu fahren… 🙁
Die Enttäuschung ist auch bei unseren Hilfsprojekten gross, denn das Waisenhaus in Piatra Neamt in Rumänien sowie das SOS Kinderdorf in Trjavna in Bulgarien könnten unsere gesammelten Hilfsgüter in der aktuellen Corona-Situation mehr als nur sehr gut gebrauchen.
Für uns gilt; aufgeschoben ist nicht aufgehoben… Wir verfolgen die aktuelle Situation rund um Covid 19 insbesondere die Entwicklungen in den Ländern Ungarn, Rumänien und Bulgarien sehr genau. Damit steigt auch gleich die Vorfreude zur Realisierung unseres karitativen Projektes an.
Wie es sich für unser Judo goes Orient Team gehört, haben wir bereits einen Plan C. Denn jeder hat Ferientage für dieses Projekt beim Arbeitgeber reserviert und so fahren wir nun im Team mit den Rallye-Autos – allerdings ohne Hilfsgüter – heute am Sonntag, 26.07.2020 los, um in der Schweiz und den umliegenden Ländern der Schweiz unser Projekt bekannt zu machen und Spenden einzuholen. Klar, wir werden die Hygienevorschriften und Distanzabstände gemäss BAG einhalten und werden bestimmt darüber berichten. Und auch klar, diese Promo-Tour werden wir aus den eigenen Taschen im Team finanzieren.
